The comrade

A barbecue restaurant found in Austin, Texas. Located in an old industrial building, the walls are naked, exposing the brick that make up the structural foundation of the restaurant. The rugged environment that makes up the restaurant is also what inspired the rustic barebones logo. A custom condensed typeface to match a bull's skull, is accented with a worn image of the state of Texas. Each design element is purposefully simple, and is underscored by details that rely on the content, which at The Comrade is good food, good people, and good times.
