Jones Ventures - Graphic Designer, Creative Director (2021-Present)

Jones Ventures is a conglomerate of small businesses focused primarily on real estate media, online entrepreneurship courses; as well as a variety of other ventures.

• Worked with the team to ideate and strategize brand imagery, digital marketing, and brand implementation.

• Assisted in the course creating process by developing logos, icons, and banners that would be featured on various platforms such as Kajabi and Teachable.

• Acted as a community manager on the courses’ Facebook page and gave design advice and insight to bring more value to the community.

• Took students on as clients and assisted in implementing strategy across their platforms; such as their websites and various social media platforms.

• Received a first-place award for newspaper page design from the Texas Intercollegiate Press Association (TIPA).

The Porch Fort Worth is a young adults ministry that meets weekly, offering messages and content specifically tailored to adults in their 20’s.

• Planned and strategized the visual direction of multiple series, including designing a variety of assets to be used over the course of a season.

• Collaborated with the social media manager to plan and integrate visual direction across multiple platforms.

• Organize and market events that incorporate design assets.

HEY! My name is Daniel Tapia - Nice to meet you!

I’m a 29-year-old graphic designer who enjoys the outdoors. When the weather is right I love taking trips with friends to go camping or backpacking; seeing as the weather is only seasonally right in Texas I tend to spend much of my time with friends over food and drink.

If I could only eat one type of food for the rest of my life it would hands-down be Mexican food; you can never go wrong with chips, salsa, tacos, and a good margarita. According to my Spotify wrapped I’m a big stomp and holler fella, but to tell you the truth the artist that I really enjoy are Dawes, Mumford and Sons, Young the Giant, and The Killers.

My favorite show is Game of Thrones, and yes that includes the last two seasons - but I’m open to hearing your opinion.

Currently playing through Halo Infinite but typically play videogames to keep up with friends from out of state.

My personal goals - to get married to my amazing girlfriend, own a Toyota Tacoma, Buy a house, make cool stuff.
